Post Your Videos About Historic Places in California
The Office of Historic Preservation is seeking videos about preservation efforts and activities in your community to post on our website for Preservation Month. Throughout the month of May, we’ll be highlighting specific videos and linking to them from our website. So let us know about your video(s) and you just might find yours spotlighted as a video of the week.
Upload your videos using either Flickr or YouTube:
If you use YouTube to upload your videos, share the video with us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org (click on the Share button below your video, then on the Email button), and we’ll then link to your video from our YouTube channel.
If you would like to share your videos using Flickr, please join our Flickr Group: California Preservation Month. (To upload a video to our Flickr Group, you must be a Flickr member. You can create a free Flickr account or log in using your Google or Yahoo account. Then when you're a member of the group, add your video to the group pool.) The easiest way to add a video to a group is to go to the videos page and click the "Add to a Group" link in the actions menu. Then choose the group you want to add it to, and you're done! Please add a title to your video and a brief description about why the video was produced.
Content that is uploaded to the Flickr group or YouTube channel will remain the property of its original owner, however the Office of Historic Preservation reserves the right to use any posted content in our programs and publications.
