Security-First National Bank building is a single-story, black and gold, terra-cotta-sheathed building designed in 1912 by Morgan, Walls, and Clements. Designed for use as a bank branch, the building was converted to offices in 2004. The property was listed at the local level under Criterion C in the area of architecture as an excellent example of Art Deco and as the work of Stiles O. Clements. The building with its projecting pilasters, surface ornamentation of repeated zigzags, groups of three lines, and glazed terra cotta sheathing is an excellent example of Art Deco and of the work of Morgan, Walls, and Clements, an architectural firm that worked successfully in a number of styles.
